This. The guy never bashes gays. He bashes the idea that any special interest group gets special treatment.

I am really curious as to why he was at a gay bar though. I mean the guys married to his college sweetheart with 2 adopted kids.

His explanation is basically "hey man I live in the neighborhood, dropped in for a beer, took a leak, and left". Considering they have video footage of him doing just that (and not secretly propositioning gay dudes), I am prone to take him at his word.

I seriously doubt he was cruising for action.

I wonder if his wife bought that story as easy as you did.

It really sounds like the Clark Griswold/Rusty Christie Brinkley in the pool scene from Vacation, doesn't it?

Anyone know if he DOES actually live in the neighborhood? and if you are a straight male, who once held a city position (and is a conservative talk show host) if you wanted a beer after work would you go to a gay bar in an area where there are LOTS of "regular" bars? and a lot of things can happen in bathrooms... not saying TC's is like that or it is still 1984 but still

you probably wouldn't do it

maybe he adopted kids because he can't manage to have sex with his wife (hey it happens). guy needs help

Michael Berry does live very close to TCs and he's never once bashed gays or any other group of people other than worthless Houston Democrats like SJL on his radio show. Some of you simply want to attack Michael because he's a conservative but that doesn't mean he hates gay people.

I got a better question,
since Berry doesn't hate gays and goes to have a beer at a gay bar
has he ever said on his radio that he goes to gay bars to have a few drinks?

Because I guarantee he would lose 1/2 of his listeners instantly.
