This month's Texas Monthly has a 6-page article on kolaches. I know we bantered this back and forth before, but whomever said REAL kolaches are rectangular and round with a "cupola" on top filled with fruit and stuff, was spot on. Real Czech kolaches aren't wieners in a roll.

The whole article was amazing.

Just sayin'...

Real kolaches of course are the square shaped desserts with all types of breads and fillings in the middle. Mmmmm lol

But: I'm new to town. Any place where they serve awesome ham and cheese kolaches and great one in general of all flavors?

What's the point though? I am sure the original pizza did not have pineapple, shrimp, taco ingredients, but they are still called pizzas.
