Anybody recommend a Honda dealer to get my 50k tune up? A little wrench came on my dashboard so I think its needs some upkeep. I live downtown and work by NASA.

Find a specialty Honda mechanic, rather than the dealer. Take a good, hard look at what is actually included in the 50k check up. Most of it is usually fluff, ie: check brake rotor, check xyz...

WHOA! Before you do anything, check to see if your gas cap is tight. Second, read your owner's manual to see if it's just indicating that your oil change "ticker" has gone to 0%. Most of the time it's just indicating you need an oil change. You have "oil" in your screenname, so go change your oil and filter, and then refer to your owner's manual on how to reset the oil change "ticker" to 100%. If I remember right, turn your key to "acc", then scroll through functions or system or something with the buttons on the dashboard until you find the oil "ticker" then hold the reset button down for 10 seconds and it will go to 100%. Then, you're good to go... all this assuming that the wrench is just telling you to change your oil, and, after you do the oil change, the wrench goes away.

Yeah, never go to the Dealership. There going to try and bend you over, if you know what I mean.

I'd take it to Honda of Clear Lake.
They are the only Honda dealer in the Houston area to win the prestigious Presidents Award for 2011.

I am a Honda driver, and you are right, once I didn't turn my fuel cap to hear 5 clicks to insure the proper torque, and sure enough the red light came on.
However the oil maintenance indicator is on the left side and yellow. It blinks the first few days, then change to steady yellow light. At least so is in my Accord.
Other reasons I noticed, that trigger red lamp:
low tire air pressure, after driving over a bump or deep puddle, or after installing a new device in the car.
50K miles is to early for any major maintenance ( IMO ) , except you still have a car warranty. The first major maintenance done in my car was the timing belt, at close to 100K miles. Newer models have timing chain.
Now close to 145K miles, the Honda still runs wonderful, and didn't had any problems.
I am desperate to drive that car to death ( or till first expensive repair ) and pay off my house, instead of new car payments.

Buy you a cheap OBDII reader on Amazon and read your errors. Cars and computers now days are very smart at telling you what they need :-) Knowing what the problem is also allows you to make sure the mechanic is not taking you for a ride :-)

Gilman has a good reputation from my west Houston experience. I dont know if they are in CLC etc though
