Wow, so much animosity. What's the big deal about changing the rules to be inclusive?

They did not need to change any rules, just the time and date.

I still think the league should have considered the possibility when the Jewish school joined.

This dust up is nothing but arrogance and stupidity.

Private school people of good will need to form another league.

Changing the game time is not a big deal.
Well said.

Especially when you consider that all that had to be done, once they decided to do it, was flip the two games on Friday. The Jewish school played at noon, and the noon game played that night.

It could not have been any easier. Except the ED decided "rules are rules" and became a stubborn @ss about it.

My guess: The ED will soon be looking for a job. Considering that even the schools involved wanted to change, and he still dug his heels in, I'll predict his days are numbered. Maybe not this year, but much sooner than his normal retirement age.

Well, rules about changing the time and date...semantics. I think we agree.

Let's hope so.

By they're own guidlines they are a Christian organization since they ban games from being played on Sundays.

How about being tolerant to differences so it's not a miserable place for Jews to live?

How about we do that for everybody instead of just one group?
Instead of helping one team, change the rules so that everybody will be helped whenever this situation happens.

Absolutely. My comment was directed toward the person who made a ridiculous suggestion about Jews specifically.

How about we start by having TAPPS remove the paragraph that states no activites can be held on Sundays.
