You Houston folks have the worst inferiority complex I have ever seen. Many on here state it is because they are constantly having to defend their city. Have you ever stopped to think, if you are having to constantly defend your city, maybe your city isn't so great after all? Take your city for what it is. It has great restaurants, very good culture, great diversity, but it is not, and probably will never be, an urban, walkable, densely populated city on par with the other great cities of the world. It is a new city, built for the automobile, just like its other peer cities in the South.
