Life and Disability Insurance Broker (home, medical, rated)

Can anyone recommend a good life and disability insurance broker? I'm looking for someone who has connections with many different companies and knows how to work with them all.

In addition, they need to be able to work with insurers to get a person rated appropriately. (My husband had a heart defect that had to be repaired a decade ago, but we've found many insurers won't touch him because he had heart surgery under the age of 40.) Based upon my research, I've discovered that he can be classed in a more preferred rate if the broker can work with the insurer to get them to review medical records, etc.

I also need someone who respects that we both work and contribute to the family finances without judgment -- the last insurance broker I spoke with told me that because I was female, I couldn't possibly be bringing home enough money to justify insuring me(!!!!!)
