There is a huge hospital complex I'm sure you know of south of downtown, another on I 10 around Beltway 8 and another on 1960 and I 45. My mother was a supervisor there for years. It was a good place to work and the area is very diverse.

I was not clear. Houston Northwest Hospital is located in an area many C-D poster consider too diverse. It is fine by me. There are a couple of school districts close by that are diverse. Stay west of I 45.

I would vote for Pearland given that you are looking to be outside the city, but not too far...it's close to the medical center, has good schools, and is getting more and more diverse as the city grows. Depending on your budget, I would recommend looking into an area called Shadow Creek Ranch, it may have what you are looking for.

If you do come to Pearland, you might actually find a job in some of the Pearland medical facilities depending upon what you do. These are affiliated with med center hospitals.

There is an imaging center affiliated with Memorial Hermann

Imaging Center: Pearland - Memorial Hermann

There are a couple of emergency rooms as well
First Choice Emergency Room: ER Clinics in Dallas, Houston and Austin (east side on Pearland Parkway)

St. Luke's Emergency Services | Locations | Community Emergency Center - Pearland (west side on Shadow Creek Parkway) affiliated with St. Luke's

There are also plenty of medical practices and clinics though I have no idea which might be hiring.
