This guy always seemed shady to me. With so much debt and almost no assets, they are screwing over lots of people. I feel bad for any clients who were in the middle of audits or reviews.

In case you never saw the SNL skit on them, it's hilarious!

I find it's never wise to deal with companies whose business is anything to do with money that are located in Texas. Companies here can get away with murder as the loan/tax industry is hardly regulated at all.

Really, Texas is a great example of what happens when there is hardly any regulation whatsoever. Enron wouldn't have been possible in many other states besides Texas.

Enron had a lot of help elsewhere, too.

Besides, the trade-off is that TX is very debtor friendly.

I wish I could tell you that Patrick fought the good fight, and the Sisters let him be. I wish I could tell you that - but prison is no fairy-tale world. He never said who did it, but we all knew. Things went on like that for awhile - prison life consists of routine, and then more routine. Every so often, Patrick would show up with fresh bruises. The Sisters kept at him - sometimes he was able to fight 'em off, sometimes not. And that's how it went for Patrick - that was his routine. I do believe those first two years were the worst for him, and I also believe that if things had gone on that way, this place would have got the best of him.
Guess he will have to do taxes for the prison guards to stop the Sisters from getting to him.

Everytime I watched that commercial I couldn't help but notice how much his chest had to puff out so he could breathe to continue talking.
