My favorite sushi place, Kirin on Westheimer, has unfortunately closed up. Now, it was a buffet, and wasn't the best fish in the world, but it wasn't terrible either. So now I'm stuck with the dilema of where to get all-you-can-eat sushi for less than 20 bucks. Any ideas?

I'm not on the north side often, but there is a place near Compaq, oops I mean HP, on 249 & Cypresswood I think. It's not an all you can eat or a buffet, a seafood place called Redfish. HUGE platters of sushi very reasonably priced, and its good sushi.

The only other ones I know about are the usual pricey fare, (Miyako, Sushi King, Kubo's, etc.)

Todai in the Marquee center off of 610 and I-10 has a decent sushi buffet. The lunch price is very reasonable, about $14, while dinner is a lot more.

Kirin Buffet is also located at 1960 and 249. Best sushi in town for the price....even better than Todai in my opinion and includes hot buffet.

Kirin-2 (broken link)

Lunch is $11.95, but dinner buffet has sashimi on the buffet for $20.95! Dinner also includes snow crab legs and raw oysters on the half shell. Where else can you find that!!
