New York City hasn't even hosted the Olympics, so I'd say that Houston is in pretty good company.

And did you seriously just reference reality shows? Again...LMAO.

Never said they were uncommon. Said they happen in every big city and they don't happen to everyone. The poster made it sound like Houston was a crime cesspool and that it was somehow different from other cities.

Whatever, you soon will be sweating your ass off as well. Sucks to be you. Have fun! Now go back to your cookie cutter neighborhood where every house looks the same with no mature trees or yard. Again ZERO character.

Real Housewives skipped Houston? That's it, Houston does suck.

Seriously, you are going to use Real Housewives as your measuring stick? Next you'll be talking about how the Jerry Springer show is not filmed here.

I really want to see you move to Dallas or Atlanta. I'd agree with you that Houston is not a world class city, but neither are Dallas or Atlanta. I guarantee that within a year of moving there you'd be posting the same complaints. Too hot? Check. No real public transport? Check. Crime? Check. Not particularly attractive? Check.

Can't put anyone of those cities in the same class as NYC, Chicago or San Fran. Those are the three "world class" cities in the US. LA is not one either. LA has Hollywood and nothing else.

You sound like a little kid bro. Grow up. Houston is great without trying to be like those other cities. And like everyone else said if you hate it here so much move back.

Dude, you are so full of it. You just told me in the Texas forum the other day that Texas was a third world country because crap from south of the border (your words, not mine.)

And half of what you just said about Houston is completely baseless.
You seriously need to get a grip, the taunting and baiting is so childish.

There is nothing in Houston that can result in that happening to someone unlike real cities like Dallas, NYC, San Fran, Chicago, Atlanta, L.A.. Those are real cities that are respected worldwide. When was the last time someone did a show on Houston??? I could name about 10 for Dallas. You know why, Houston sucks and no one wants to go there. I can't wait for the remake of Dallas, that is going to be awesome. A true Texas city, not some wannabe city in heart of chemical plants.

Now someone may feel chewed up by Houston having the lowest wages out of the top ten largest cities. It also has the third highest crime rate out of the top ten cites. Houston also has zero tourism unlike Austin or San Antonio. Man, I love Texas so much. It would be so awesome if it wasn't for Houston. Oh, and as far BBQ, San Antonio and Kansas City all the way. I will say this though, Baker Ribs on S.Voss is very good. It was one of the very few nice things about Houston.
Then why are you on here crying like a hot damn 2 year old? If your that unhappy then leave, I'm pretty sure they have a police force in NY, thats even if you're a HPD officer. I know three HPD officers, they seem to love their jobs.

Now you're starting to cry and show your true colors. You are bashing the city because they aren't featured in TV shows? That's hilarious. Relax. If Houston isn't for you, than say that and move on.
