Lately, my wife and I have been exploring crawfish platters from different establishments throughout houston. We've tried Ragin Cajun, Pappadeaux, Pier 36, Razzoo's and Jenivi's Seafood Shopp.

By far the best crawfish was at Jenivi's...hands down. Now, we're not crawfish connoisseurs but we are definitely looking forward to returning for more crawfish.

The worst unfortunately goes to Pier 36. Maybe they had an "off day" but needless to say, we won't be back.

Our next stop will be Wild Cajun. Read a lot of good reviews for their establishment.

After that, where to next? Where is your favorite "go to" spot for good crawfish?

Wild Cajun on Wilcrest is pretty good. some of my friends say it's the best. My gf won't eat crawfish from anywhere else now.

We went and tried Jenivi's Seafood Shoppe this weekend and while it was certainly a different style of crawfish (and very spicy) I wouldn't way it is the best around.

Try Hank's Crawfish on HWY 6 or Willie G's. Hanks is a little overpriced but you get to choose from different spicy levels. Willie G's just has very good, big, clean crawfish that are just the right spicy level.
