Your weather is better. That's where it ends.

Houston is a melting pot for immigrants.

You're a little late. The ranking in Kiplinger was in 2008, I believe.

It has lots of engineering jobs, that's all I care about.
As long as I have a job, I can find something to do.

There's so many jobs, that I was unemployed in San Antonio before coming to Houston last year.
I've been at my job less than 1 year, and I was already given a raise and offered to start a career plan to move up inside the company.
And I'm not talking about McDonalds, I'm talking about a Fortune 500 company.

In San Antonio I couldn't even find a job (I'm still renting my house over there)

Really?

Hot = lots of cities
Flat = lots of cities
Humid = lots of cities

How does that translate to "nothing to offer?" Maybe if you're a mountain climber, but otherwise...

If you can't find anything outside of economy and housing, you're not looking too hard and I feel a bit sorry for you.

I can't think of many cities in the US that have a mild winter and beaches without white sharks.
