Is it time to go berry picking yet? Anyone have a favorite place they go to (preferably in the NE area!)

Went to Froberg's a few weeks ago. It's SE, but the family had a lot of fun. Great for picture taking and lots of farmer's market type food.

There are some in Cypress area. Never been to any in NE but I'm sure they're all pretty good. Figure out what you want to pick first, there's a website to find it nearest to your home.
Where in Houston area of Texas to find pick your own farms and orchards for fruit, vegetables, pumpkins and canning & freezing instructions!

Froberg's season is winding down, I think. We went around this time last year and the berries were a bit small (although the drought probably was a negative factor last year). They opened for strawberry picking in early March this year; we went a couple of weeks later and got some sweet, big berries. Definitely call before you go so you can find out how the crop is.
