Thankfully, I could escape to Dallas every once in a while.

Hopefully, Boston will be a better match. If not, then well I'll only be there for 2, possibly 3, years and then I'll move on.
Boston is just for colleges. The summer is nice, but the winter is long.

Chicago. Probably no later than 18 months from now. I need an urban denser city....I do not like driving and would like to just be able to do all that I enjoy via public transportation. Will miss a lot about Houston so will be enjoying it until we move home.

I will return to Arizona. I didn't really want to leave Phoenix, but the local economy after the housing collapse was too much in the toilet to bear.

The winter is what I'm afraid of. I already know that I'm going to have to stock up on thick sweaters and thermal leggings.

Toronto, NYC, Los Angeles, or the Bay Area. Austin is a good little city, but its still too little for me.

If I wanted to be near relatives, then Chicago.

Houston is practical, but no fun. (please don't give me a list of 100 positive things of Houston... I've lived here for 32 years and know better). Awesome food, cheap gas, but spread out like crazy and not dense or pedestrian friendly enough for me.

then you need to have a lot of money first, such as buying a house in SF when you retire.

I voted other. I don't know why you'd want to move from an already expensive city to a more expensive city. I guess you guys are just going to live forever like you're 25 and work till you die. Good luck.
