Default AMLI on Eldridge Parkway -77077

I signed my lease and I am scheduled to move in on the 20th of May! I , Of course started doing research after the fact. Now I am scared sh*tless is this place really that bad? I have been there 3 times and did not notice anything as extreme as what I am reading online. I figured this area of Houston would be safer than most areas and it is close to my gym/work and for a 1/1 with Washer/Dryer for $855 not bad

Please if someone can shed some light for me I would appreciate it greatly!

I lived there for 6 months between 2009-2010 with no major issues but they did issue a couple warnings about break ins in that time frame. It's by no means a shaprstown or greenspoint bad apartment complex, but it's cheaper and not discriminating on who it signs leases to. Just keep stuff out of your car and your doors locked and don't leave your windows open when you're gone and I doubt you'll have a problem.

Thanks Lost! Well I am a single woman so I have taken some steps to be safe.
2nd floor and my own alarm with 24/hour monitoring. Pepper spray in my purse and I drive a 05 Honda doubt anyone would mess with my car! I have a great job ( in O&G) and I am saving up to buy a house within a year... I do have to ask ...Any roaches? That is a dang deal breaker hahaha!

I signed a lease there (and put down a deposit) after graduation about 6 years ago, but had to back out because of a temporary job relocation.
I never lived there, but I do remember the traffic being really bad around that area.
Not sure if it has gotten any better.
I do recall the property looking pretty decent at the time, but of course things do change over time.
And yeah, cockroaches would be a deal breaker for me too.
I moved out of my very first apartment in part because of the constant roaches in my unit.

Thanks RVD26! I just spoke with some people and I feel much better. The area is nice and the apartments look nice, I think I will go ahead and sign the lease. Traffic always sucks in Houston but my commute now will be cut in half living on Eldridge. So far there has been no reports of bugs YAY! Plus it is only a year and I can save some $$ - Thanks for your info :O)

I will report back once I am in the apartment
