Just wondering if there are any apple orchards near Houston.

Wrong climate for apples. There are, however, peach orchards, strawberry fields, etc.

If you walk on the main streets of the Houston side of Clear Lake, there are some orange trees hanging over the fences. You can probably pick a few of those.

Zup M! Texas my not have the biggest orchards in the country but we do have a several orchards.
Our West Texas climate allows apple growers a longer growing season and a more flavorful apple. Cider, Apple wine bakery goodies, festivals and tours are part of the apple growing tradition in the Lone Star State. Here is one that's near Houston and there are more!

Default E&B Orchards

Thanks writeonbro for the mention of E&B Orchards as a Houston area orchard.

Unfortunately, we no longer have apples at E&B Orchards. We have white peaches and nectarines, yellow peaches, and thornless blackberries. Our season is usually mid-May through July 4th.

Thanks again and we hope to see you next year.
