Was told there's a shuttle service to IAH. Did not know. Googled for it (supershuttle.com). Is there another shuttle service? They want 35 bucks (shared). I suppose that means they pick me up and whoever else. No idea. But that's ok as long as I get there on time.

My aunt uses them when she visits. She's only had one problem, last time she was leaving they almost made her late. The driver's GPS sent her the wrong way and they had to call my aunt to get directions to pick her up.

Supershuttle has been pretty good for me. Make sure you give them specifics if you live a new or confusing area. I always tell them that I want to be there extremely early since traffic in Houston can be unpredictable.

You may also want to consider parking at the airport. If your only going for a few days it may end up being the same price and you won't have to rely on anyone else.

With SuperShuttle, you will share the "blue van" with other riders--that's what keeps the cost lower than taking a taxi by yourself.

Other option:
Metro use to operate an Airport Express bus, but no more, however the 102 still goes to the airport and drops off at terminal C. I've picked up that bus under the Pierce elevated near St. Joseph hospital. It's an express bus which means a good portion of the trip is on 45. If you have an afternoon or evening flight it's doable.

Default Thank you

They were kind if early and surprised me. But ok, better than late. Just picked up some guy from Rice and headed to the airport then. It was pretty good.

I had a decent experience with Super Shuttle the one time I used it; had to wait a bit at the airport to leave, but was the first one to be dropped off (Inner Loop). However, my uncle who lives off Highway 6, had to take a tour of Houston before he got dropped off more than 2 hours later...
