Default Dallas trip - Children friendly places to stop

We will be travelling to Dallas. I can bet that my two kids will be annoying in the car. So we plan to stop very frequently to let them stretch and run around (probably every hour or so).

Do we have any children friendly places that you'd recommend to stop by on the way.

If you're looking for jerky, sausage, meat, etc Woody's Smokehouse in Centerville is better than the Buccees fad.

There are at least two TXDOT rest stops on the way with playgrounds. One is in New Waverly, can't remember where the other one is, somewhere not too far past Centerville IIRC.

I will usually stop at Braum's because the are none located in Houston and I like their burgers. There is one in Ennis and one in Corsicana with the former being closer to the interstate. You can pump your kids full of ice cream and then stick them back in the car.

Conroe has a great park right next to the highway called "Candy Kane Park".
It wouldn't hurt to stop there for at least 10-15 minutes.
