those who travelled using southwest airlines recently..

if i check in online 24 hours before flight.. how many hours do you suggest before flight.. dont want to wait too long and definitely dont want to miss my flight..

i'll be flying july 4th..

I would normally suggest to arrive an hour before flight, but 4th of July is a busy travel day, so you may want to add 30-45 minutes to that.

Hour to 1.5 hour before flight. Sometimes security lines back up and your luggage has to be checked atleast 30 minutes before flight leaves.

You should be fine getting there 1.5 hrs ahead. Travel *on* July 4th is likely to be lighter than on the day before/after since most folks will already be where they want to be for the holiday.
