Default Richmond construction

What is being built at 99 and West Bellfort across from the new Shell? They are clearing land on the corner of the lot the new Santikos theater is being built.

If you are referring to the NE corner, that entire area is going to be retail and restaurants along 99, and office/apts behind the retail. Two large box retailers are going on either side of the theater - one of them proposed to be a home improvement store.

The store on the other side will likely be a Super Target. The original site plan shows the square footage to be over 187,000 s.f. and Target and Walmart are the only retailers I know of that build them that big.

There is already a proposed Lowes at 1093 and Spring Green, doubt they will put two so close to each other.

I personally would prefer to see Lowe's at the Spring Green location, but the developer may have taken too long to get that project going. The original plan was to develop both sides at 1093 and Spring Green. The latest plans have scaled the development down to just the NE corner. The original developer may have even sold the property.

The other side will be phase 2 and was even that way in the original design. Drive by there every day, sign is still up for that side and they are erecting momuments on both sides of the street. Fingers crossed. With the expansion of the Westpark to start this fall, all lot is going on towards Fulshear. Cinco SW, Westheimer Lakes and Cross Creek are all selling new homes left and right and Lakes of Bella Terra is starting to get movement again.

The spots marked as Multifamily reserve look like Phase 2 of Fieldstone.

They just started digging up in that area.
