I would think Houston because they like to mingle with other AA's. Houston has a lot more AA's then Dallas.

Well, I wasn't really speaking about AAs in general, but hey, fine. I speaking as a whole.

I know you can only take these estimates with a grain of salt, but according to this website, Harris County gained almot 20,000 immigrants.

I am surprised it was that low. I would bet 2012 has a higher figure.

I'm surprised the domestic migration was that low.

It is only Harris County - doesn't include Fort Bend (which is Sugar Land and part of Katy). Montgomery County includes The Woodlands, etc. Brazoria County is Pearland, etc. Throw in Waller County, too. We are big - one county cannot contain Houston Metro.

I was looking at all the other years as whole. I think it was like that all over the country. I looked at many other metros and seen that their domestic migration was lower the years this decade compared to last year.

South Louisianans have more of an affinity with Houston, while North Louisianans tend to flock to Dallas.

I always see ties between Houston and New Orleans in their music. And many kids from Houston go to Southern University in Baton Rouge.
