I live by Buffalo Speedway and Richmond Ave and I have felt safe here. Most I've heard in regards to safety is people having their car broken into. Most of the time it seems they left a GPS or something else valuable on the seat though. I know people who have lived at Brompton Courts and Birkshire on Brompton and they've felt safe. One did get their bike stolen though, so I don't recomend leaving that locked on a rack outside. Most of the people where I live leave them on their balcony if they're on the 2nd or 3rd floor and I guess First floor residents leave their bike inside. (My complex does not have bike racks).

Anyway, I like the area.
As long as you're not just leaving valuables out in the open I'm sure you're good.
