Default Katy Fireworks

Does anyone know where all the fireworks are at this year in Katy?

I'm unsure if you are asking where to watch them or where to buy them. If the former, Katy Mills or La Centerra are generally where we go If the latter, then everywhere.

Yes to go see them. Thank you for your reply. I have done the La Centerra before, that is a good show and knowing all the back ways out of there might have to do that one again as we were home in less that 10 minutes when the show ended.

We are debating which one to go to. Probably go to La Centerra, we just moved into our home last August so this will be the first one in Katy we have attended.

I was also debating between Katy Mills and LaCentera. Sounds like LaCentera has a little bit more going on prior to the fireworks show so that may win out. I'm just not sure if those other activities are worthwhile. Anyone been to LaCentera in years past that could share their thoughts on those activities? Would like to listen to music and maybe enjoy an adult beverage. I don't have kids so kids activities are not what I am looking for.

La centerra has a lot of stuff going on, get there early and head to the fields in the back. Lots of activities for the kids... Katy Mills people just set up in the parking lot and "wait" until it gets dark, but at least the 2 times we went it was kind of boring...

If you just want to see the fireworks at la centerra, just go right before dark and park on cinco, it gets pretty crowded there...

Here's a link to La Centerra's event page..

Katy Mills will probably be pretty small compared to la Centerra, as there is only a 10k budget for fireworks this year (funds for the show come from donations, not collected from taxes). But, still worth going to show support

La Centerra was pretty short, only about 20 minutes. I could see Katy Mills was still going as I was driving home.

That's because La Centerra started earlier than Katy Mills, I can see both from my yard lol.
