We all know that each area in the nation has a dominant metro: New York City (Northeast), Chicago (Midwest), Los Angeles (West Coast), etc. But what about the South? In the South, we have DFW, Miami, Atlanta, and Houston. All of these are truly important, but Houston's economy is the largest. Due to this fact, do you consider Houston to be the dominant metro of South in the same respect as the above areas in their respective area of the country?

I don't even consider Texas to be hardcore south. I think of that more as Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia

Houston has a Million more people than the next largest city in the south of course its the King
