We all know that each area in the nation has a dominant metro: New York City (Northeast), Chicago (Midwest), Los Angeles (West Coast), etc. But what about the South? In the South, we have DFW, Miami, Atlanta, and Houston. All of these are truly important, but Houston's economy is the largest. Due to this fact, do you consider Houston to be the dominant metro of South in the same respect as the above areas in their respective area of the country?

What an effing stupid question. Seriously? I can believe you still around spitting nonsense. Who effing cares if Houston is "King of South" and WHAT value does this thread brings to the Houston forum. I mean think ABOUT IT mate? Do you copy, EVER?

Mods is really time to step in and kill stupid nonsense like this. Maybe a doze of common sense for the OP may be suited as well.

I don't even consider Texas to be hardcore south. I think of that more as Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia

Once the Dallasites and Atlantans pick up the scent of Houston boosting taking place, it will get messy.

Count me out.
