I was wondering if anyone who lives or is purchasing a home in the Firethorne community is concerned about the Wastewater Treatment Plant expansion?

We plan on purchasing a home in the area and noticed a large expansion that is scheduled but can find little information. Our concern is the smell and home values? Does anyone have any information regarding this facility?

Thanks

C

I am surprised you haven't gotten responses. I am also surprised at the lack of information about the drill sites in this community. Any one know if they are fracking or drilling or will in the future? The neighborhood looks good and the homes look good. Is there information out there I am not finding or are people putting there heads in the sand?

I know that the sites are Oil drills and are natural gas drills. I would like to know if they are currently being drilled or will be drilled when gas prices go back up or if they are abandoned wells. They won't be dry but could be so little left in them that they are no longer feasible to drill even at very high prices of oil or natural gas. If they are abandoned wells I want to know how long they have been abandoned to see how long the ground has had to resettle.

That would be a question for the Texas Railroad Commission.
