Sugar Land Apts that Accept GSD (Houston, Katy: apartments, lease, house)

Hello,

Looking for an Apartment in Sugar Land for short term (6 months would be great) That accepts our Dog and has a Garage.

She is 70lbs, White Shepherd, 3.5 yrs, female. Of course, very well behaved, friendly, excellent references from previous landlords.

My girlfriend and I are young professionals.. relocating asap to Houston, we like sugar land. I can't give up my dog, and need garage for sports car/motorcycle... and prefer short term at first until we get to know the areas better.

We know in other parts of the country, GSD's are not commonly accepted in apartments.. but dont want a 12 month house lease until we know where we'd like to be permanently... we would like to start off in Sugar Land, but also open to Katy or even Clear Lake.

Looking to spend $1000/mo +- $200.

Let me know OF ANY you know that may fit our needs. Dog is my big concern.. I have contacted apartment locators, and they do not help narrow down which ones accept GSD... they just provide "case by case" options which does not help narrow down any options at all.

What is a GSD? I get that the last word must be Dog, but what does this mean? Grand Size Dog?

German Shepherd Dog. Some people Consider them American White Shepherd's... but same thing, just white.

Get a list from an apartment locator and spend 30 minutes calling all the properties to ask before you go out to them?

Well, we are relocating to Houston, so no need for a showing prior to arrival. Seems all do not accept a "German Shepherd"... but she is actually classified/recognized as an "American White Shepherd"... and I found a few apartments that accept a white shepherd.. interesting enough.
