It did get the warm fuzzy for a second, but then I remembered why I went in there... to buy a belt for my edger, and some weed killer... not really things one does around Christmas.

Let's start a poll to see when Christmas Music will begin playing on the radio. I'm saying we will hear it November 15th this year.

About 2 years ago, I needed a box fan for specific reason repair. Went into Home Depot - couldn't find one. An employee told me they didn't have any at the time because it was a "seasonal" item and they had to make way for holiday items (I use holiday to encompass Halloween, etc.). It was August. Fans in August would seem seasonally correct. Evidently not.

My father in law went to HD also to get a fireplace for a remodel job he was doing, and he was also told they did not have them, they were seasonal... in December! He put off doing the work because he wanted the weather to be cooler outdoors instead of the heat and humidity, only to not be able to do the work. He patched up the holes, finished the walls and it has been like that for about the past 12 years.

Default Ha..

Same old, same old... Lowes now has their Christmas decorations out. They should do like my kooky neighbor... since last Christmas, she has left a little metal frame lighted Christmas tree, and some other lights out by her door. At first maybe she forgot, but then she probabaly said to herself 'I wonder if I could go a year like this?' Well, so far, she has.

Hey Lowes... why put it up, just more work to take it down and set up again, eh?

Hobby Lobby started putting their Christmas stuff out early this summer! It does seem to get earlier & earlier every year.

I don't want to see the actual decorating until Thanksgiving weekend.

I totally enjoy it. If you like Christmas, why not embrace the Christmas sights. Noone says you have to buy anything at all. When I walked into Lowes (or should I saw "while I was still IN the parkin lot"), the first thing I saw was Christmas trees all lit up today! It was the best part of my day
