Really I have nothing agains realtors, and many people would be better off using their services

However, please let s not mislead people talking about no cost to the buyer. There s no such thing as a free lunch.

The realtor does receive compensation, correct? Well that budget is not going into the buyer's pocket, that s all I say.

Yes realtors do provide a service, and yes they do deserve to be paid for that service. But NO, that service is not free.

It's like buying something on ebay, when the buyer spends $100, the seller maybe receive $90. Well, if the buyer and seller would have met without ebay, then I am sure the seller would have been happy to receive $95, as well as the buyer who would have paid less. That s not to say that it is wrong, ebay does provide a service and deserves to get paid. But if you re able to do your research on your own, you may be better off not using the middle man.

It does not matter who pays who. There is a pie to be share, and if someone takes a piece of it, there are less to share between the remaining parties. Of course, a great realtor could increase the size of the pie enough to compensate for his share, but that is not true every time...
