Houston beat Baltimore, Denver and Chicago with two of those being on the road and yet you guys are not satisfied. Yes, Houston got cold late in the season thanks to a plethora of injuries on defense. Schaub threw for 4k yards and made the pro bowl and you guys trash him. You guys really jump ship fast down here.

I haven't been watching the Texans that long but as an outsider I don't like how their offense is being run by the coaches. They are way too conservative considering how many weapons they have. They have to attack more. I see Houston playing it way too safe in too many games. One of the things I noticed before Cushing got hurt is that Houston's defense was dominating and their offense could play the more conservative run to set up the pass type offense and it worked well. After Cushing got hurt the defense started allowing a lot more points but Houston's offense never adjusted to that and kept playing the same tight conservative offense they needed to get more aggressive to make up for all the points they were now giving up. I blame that on the coaching, not on the players.

^^^

I agree.

They don't spread the field well enough and they play way too conservative on offense.

Houston should make a nice run...If they beat Cincy I believe that the texans could be brady back in Boston, the Texans didnt really show a lot of plays against NE if you watched it closely.

I hope you're right, but I'm not optimistic.

Well, I'm a Texans fan. If my wish comes true and the Texans face off against the Niners in the Superbowl, I'll still be a Texans fan. However, Kubiak is soft and lacks a winning attitude. He should be canned. I've been on that bus for about four seasons now. One needs only to look at what Harbaugh did in only one year with the Niners to see the difference a great head coach can make with talented players.

If they fizzle, I'll hang on with the Niners as long as I can and get ready for Giants baseball. Sorry Astros...enjoy the AL.

I watched that game very closely. A little too closely. That was one hell of a pounding and that game was not meaningless. Both teams knew they were playing for the tiebreaker to get home field.
