Right now we get just one day a week off together. Houston as appeal because I've read lots of articles on worst places for allergies, and Houston has never come up as one of those. We know Lubbock is bad, Austin and DFW are also often in the top Ten worst cities for Allergies. Florida might be a better choice strictly for allergies but there are other negatives that make that an unattractive choice. East Texas, Suphur Springs, Tyler is also a possibility.
I'm from East Texas. Longview to be exact about 35 mins. from Tyler and I use to get really bad allergies during spring and winter time. Lot's of pollen but I was younger and my asthma was worst then so that might have had something to do with it. For good burbs of Houston I would recommend

1. The Woodlands
2.Sugar Land
3. Cypress/Champions area
4.Spring

My wife has a serious allergy problem. 6 years in Dallas was bad, but the last 9 in Lubbock have actually been worse. Blowing dust and dry air seems to really affect her. Humidity is better.
My allergies go year round here. It will depend on what she is allergic to. My allergies were better in the New Orleans area than they are here.

Whoever messaged me, thanks and the alert has been passed on to several Pearland groups.

I would suggest Cypress and Champions. Money goes farther there than in other areas for equivalent houses/neighborhoods.
