Maple Leaf, but the tv layout is not good. Usually a good crowd though.

I actually think Maple Leaf is a crappy bar. It is also the only NHL bar I know of in Houston. That is the place to go to watch hockey.

I really enjoy the Maple Leaf Pub. It attracts a little more mature crowd than many places in Midtown so it may not be for all tastes. Yes, I agree that there is room for improvement with the TV layout. But its the only bar that I've been to that will put the sound on the hockey game...and have multiple hockey games on without having hoops. (There are 10 places within a few blocks you can watch the Rockets). It will likely be full for the Olympics.

I'm willing to bet they will put on curling if you ask nicely (especially the Danish womens team).

Although not a hockey bar, Buffalo Wild wings usually has hockey games during the NHL season. As already mentioned there may be contention with other sports during playoffs etc...

DirectTv and my gameroom works for us.
