Post Looking for a Handyman

I am looking for a reliable, honest handyman to do some minor repairs around my house. It is minor stuff like basic wood work, light fixtures, etc. I am inside the loop. Any recommendations?
On that same note, we are also looking for cheap lawn care.

Handyman Connection
5320 Gulfton St Ste 14
Houston, TX 77081
Phone: (713) 664-7200

Ignore the fact that it has a Gulfton address. Basically this is a stable of skilled workmen who are subcontractors for this agency. We have used them on several occasions and have been very happy with the results. As for your yard, look around your neighborhood and see who has the best looking lawn. Then ask them who they use. If that is too expensive, ask some other neighbors.

Thanks for the handyman tip.
I've asked a couple people in the neighborhood but it seems most are
"do it yourself-ers".

yep. for jobs over your head you have to learn to be more of a project manager then pickup one or more guys from homedepot sidelines. some of them wait between 610/59 of westpark dr
for lawn care, you could just ask your neighbors (or other proporties closeby), see which one looks good and not shaved to the roots

Mr Kringle you are no rookie on City Data. You should have realized that you were answering a post that is so old it is growing fur. When that person gets your mail I'm sure they will get one hell of a laugh.
