The concept seems interesting, but a little underwhelming in the fact that it is more than likely going to be more concrete space.

I have lived in Houston my entire life and I've never heard of EaDo or Lomac.

Are these terms that the "loft"-dwelling yuppies... excuse me, "young professionals"... who live in "midtown" invented?

I think it came from realtors to be honest. It like when dealerships used to have huge signs saying "Used Cars", then to be politically correct, changed it to "Previously Owned". PC is destroying our culture, and our country! Saying East Downtown is like saying the "industrial zone".

yes, i figured Dalparadise would of caught onto that (but maybe the Dal in your name doesnt stand for Dallas like i always assumed it did), but i guess just like Houstonians and EaDo, lomac hasnt caught on with all the Dallasites.

I think that a walking bridge over 59 from Discovery Green to East Downtown would be a great and expensive idea.
