Need advise on the best schools for special needs children. One 7 year old and one 6, both boys. I finally narrowed down my three choices to move to in January to Katy, Cypress, or Woodlands. Moving to Houston area from California. Oh also is there any good school areas in some suburb communities in actual Houston for special needs as well and that have lower crime stats?

All have good schools. All have low crime.

Personally, I like Cypress and The Woodlands.

If you choose the Woodlands, check out Indian Springs, Carlton Woods and Sterling Ridge.

If you choose Cypress, there's the wooded North Cypress or the expansive South Cypress.

In North Cypress: Longwood, Lakewood Forest, Lakewood Oaks Estates, Rock Creek, Stable Gate, Coles Crossing, Northlake Forest, Lakewood Glen, Stablewood Farms, Lakes of Rosehill, Secret Forest, Park Forest, Villaggio, Village Creek, Lakes of Fairhaven, etc.

In South Cypress: Blackhorse, Cypress Creek Lakes, Cypress Creek Ranch, Bridgeland, Stone Gate, etc.

Here are my Cypress Photos

Also check out the "HP Corridor" area along 249 and Louetta. And there are a couple dozen in Spring/Klein/Champions to check out as well.
