Default commute from midtown to katy

I work as a nurse and will either be working 7a-7p or 7p-7a. My question is I want to live in either midtown area which I believe is inside the loop (?) or in the oak forest, garden okas neighborhoods which i think is just outside the loop (?), either way what would a commute like that be out to Katy around those times! There is a hospital in Katy which I would prefer and another which is the Northwest Memorial Hermann which looks to be right off the 610 and much closer but still would prefer Katy if the drive isnt insane!! Thanks a million!

I work at 610 and TC Jester. The drive in the morning is insane! The 7p-7a would not be bad, but from experience getting anywhere by 7 or 8am, is a stressful nightmare at least for me. I switched my work hours (I am able) to flex so I come in late and leave late.
