Default 24 and nowhere to go

Hi we will be moving into my new home in Katy on the 14th but my 24 yr old son is already there. My husband and my son drove 2 cars there a few days ago and my husband is flying back here today.. Anyway my son is staying and supposely looking for a job but what can he do during his down time.. Any sugesstions to where a single guy can go.?.. and if so can you tell me exactly where it is.. we are so unfamilar with the area. I'm sure he would want to check out clubs, etc.. TIA

Midtown is more of the club scene spot right now.

Westheimer is not an area. It's a VERY LONG street. Not too much of a single's scene in Katy. However, once you get cross beltway you have more options, and once you're close to the 610 loop/Galleria while you're on Westheimer there's an abundance of stuff to do. I would definitely go with midtown and downtown (inside the loop) for clubs.

Like what, about 30 miles from Katy to downtown? FM 1093 goes west even further.

Default Oh, to be 24 again...

Send him to Mo's Place on Mason Rd. Welcome to Mo's Place ONLINE! or Midnight Rodeo at Katy Mills Mall. As mentioned above, Midtown in Houston (Red Door, Pub Fiction, Roof, Tipsy Clover) are hot spots but quite a haul from Katy. The drive into Midtown isn't nearly as tough as the drive home.
