Arrow Moving from Nevada to Houston, help please!

Hello all, I'm relocating from Nevada to the Houston area. I have a 5 year old and I'm looking to move into an area with diversity and a great ISD.

I'm working out of the Greenspoint area but there's a possiblity I will be moved to the downtown area, sugarland, or south Houston (Pasadena area) in the next two years or more.

Would you please suggest communities that I can look into? Also, my price range is $225k, max.

Thanks!!!

Right Now, I would suggest renting in Kingwood, Humble or Spring areas. I would advise you not to buy until you are sure where you are going to work. If you bought in one of these areas and got transferred to Sugarland, you would have to move because the commute would be impossible. However if you are transferred to downtown or Pasadena, a commute from somewhere in Humble or Kingwood like Fall Creek or Summerwood would not be too bad.

Buy close to where you work. As the OP suggested, if you may move locations then it's best to rent until you know for sure.
