Nope, it's the original design. I do wonder who built it? I know there will be someone who knows, since it was from the Parade of Homes tour.

I'm not so sure it's absurdly overpriced. I've been monitoring Westbury prices the last 5-6 months and they are increasing at a good pace. It may not go for near asking but I don't see it going for under 300k like some of you have suggested. I think maybe about 325k.

The ones that have sold for top dollar have been flipped, with new plumbing and electrical etc...

It will be interesting to see what it sells for in it's original condition.

I'm not seeing much in Maplewood South going for under 300K these past few months. Maplewood South and Westbury are pretty similar, though I know some sections of Westbury will fetch more than others. Point is, prices have shot up recently. Perhaps the Westbury High issue, which was the main thing keeping prices below Bellaire/Meyerland, IMO, is not holding prices back so much anymore.

I don't think its the original floor plan. The pole in the middle of the living area is a clue and the half opened kitchen - MCMs usually have small enclosed kitchens. Someone 'opened' it all up - poorly.

The late 50s mod-cons in the kitchen are absent, like the in-counter blender and the sink/sink with power washer. Removed with nasty 80s formica in MCM colour. Sad.

Original pink bathroom is not true. The sink is replaced and the tiling around the minitub is replaced. This house isn't even 50% original, in my estimation of viewing dozens of MCMs in view of a purchase.

I love the mosaic on entry, however.

Pricey for what you get.

you dont need to have "original" to qualify as MCM - and hopefully you have done some renovations. 60 year old bath tile will be very gross. the people that have this home just dont appear to have the money to do it right. next buyer certainly will. it will most definitely go for over 300+ unless the foundation is cracked or there are significant structural problems. flat roofs arent a problem for everyone
