I like storms too but not the intense ones. Those usually bring high water and power outages that last for far too long. I prefer the all day showers that bring an inch or two of rain each day for a couple of days.

These types of events are good for us, in my opinion. Every now and then, we need to be reminded that nature has the upper hand. People who live in "perfect weather" cities don't understand that as well as we do.

I haven't observed that most Houstonians dislike our strong storms.

my balls predict at least 2.5 more months of little rainfall and heat with 2 minor winter storms much like our 2010/2011 winter. ive always been told my balls are special
