What are the general pros and cons of buying a home in Webster?

Depends on where the home is. Old webster. Off of NASA road one between 45 and hwy 3 not the best but not awful either.

Does the city have any property tax? There's an awful lot of sales tax coming in for such a small city.

I worked in Webster for several years. It seems like it has a lower percentage of residential and a very high percentage of business, hotels, restaurants, etc. for it's size. It was ok. There is a relatively new development that advertises luxury homes, but I think it was built on the site of an old power plant.

I heard that the elementary school there is not highly regarded like others in CCISD.

They do put on a heck of a July 4th show now that Clear Lake has stopped doing theirs.
