Trying to decide if I should go buy candy or not. Last year was my first Halloween as a home owner and I bought massive bags of candy for the kids but ended up not getting a single trick or treat'r =[. I am surrounded by neighborhoods full of kids to , kinda figured they would be swarming the new townhouses (East Downtown) for candy but guess I thought wrong.

Ate all the candy myself and hardly finished it a month or two ago!

Was going to be the bad ass house where every kid got at least one full sized candy bar lol

Do you have Halloween decorations or lights on outside? That's normally an indicator that trick or treaters are welcome.

Buy candy you like! That's what we do. Of course, if you have lots left over it's not so good on the waist...

We sat out front last year with 3 or 4 sets of neighbors. It was great. We'll sit in one of our garages if it rains otherwise we'll sit out front again.

All I got for Halloween is a bunch of bugs flying into my house from all the trick-or-treaters--bunch of mosquitoes and one flying cockroach...Ugghh!

I was driving through Belaire and saw so many kids last night. Even at 8pm in pitch dark there were a lot. Parents were coming in vans, busing them from all over the city I guess. Quite a site.

we got outsiders coming in driven in cars up to 9pm, and its a gated community. I'm actually glad they came by, with their mom & dad too. A late night family stroll is quite something around these parts. Even my japanese wife finally figured out what the big deal is with Halloween (she thought it was kinda stupid) until she did her rounds last night

Hehe, yeah, the kids loved it. I think the adults liked it more though
