Top Chef snubbed because Houston refused to pay Bravo money. Their loss if they want to skip the state's largest city and best restaurant scene in the state.

As far as burger joints... don't we already have a lot of great ones here? Houston was ranking tops on the Travel + Leisure "best burgers" towns recently, I remember. I'd suspect it's a tough market.

They don't want to come here? Screw 'em. By the time the make a showing here after putting one in Bugtussle, TX - who needs them? Becks Prime for expensive and Whataburger for cheap.

In and out is over rated. Many, many, many better hole in the wall burger places around Houston

I'm pretty sure when they first announced they were switching from Houston to Austin, they also including San Antonio. They were going to expand central Texas first and then they will come here. You really don't think they are going to open up in Houston eventually? They are expanding faster now. They are okay. whataburger is better, but I like them next.

I had "In-and-out" several years ago when I went to California
tell you the truth.... I don't remember thinking that it was anything impressive.
but I still remember the first time I ate Whataburger about 5 years ago.

Yup, Top Chef needs to pay US money, not the other way around.

And meh, who needs In & Out when we have Jollibee?
