Very simply put what airline do you think will fill the other international gate that Southwest airlines will not be occupying at Hobby when international flights start in 2015 ?

My guesses would be Interjet or Aeromexico or Volaris.

I think it will be either Viva Aerobus, Volaris, or Interjet. I don't really see Aeromexico relocating from IAH to Hobby.

I mean maybe Aeromexico could start a flight from Mexico City to Hobby.

I don't know, but seems like what they are targeting is Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, Colombia and Venezuela.
I don't know what airlines would fit that profile aside from AeroMexico and Copa

Interjet blows any of them out of the water by far. I drive to SA so I can fly with them rather then deal with United or Aeromex.

Aeromexico is already entrenched at IAH plus passengers on Aeromexico flights have access to other Skyteam carriers such as Delta, Air France, KLM, and (soon to be) Korean Air to facilitate easy connections.

Houston-Hobby does not offer those advantages.

I was reading the "Free Hobby" website and found this that may make my question irrelevant.

Will this be exclusively Southwest’s facility?
No. It will be a common use facility that is available to all carriers who wish to serve Hobby. - See more at: Free Hobby

Are they saying all the gates will be open to other carriers that wish to fly international routes from HOU ?
