Folks
I am working on downtown Houston near Toyota center. which is the shortest commute in morning and evening? is there any public transport to downtown?

if you drive to the South Fannin station (off of 288) you can take the light rail into downtown ( light rail passes 5 blocks from Toyota Center, though there arent many employement centers near TC so im thinking you may be in one of the offices closer to the rail line. other than the light rail from just south of 610, it depends if you have an EZ Tag or not and how much traffic you want to sit through.. you could take the Ft Bend toll road to 610, and then over to 288 to downtown, or you could take highway 6 east to 288, then straight into downtown, toll free (but with more traffic)..
