My Husband is considering a job with the Nasa, he is a mechanical engineer. What do you think of the area, elementary school, housing etc. We live in Florida and since his job is contract, we are keeping the house here. I have been checking on line the prices of the houses there and some range from the 100's to 300's in the nasa area. Any advice?

Default I am looking for...

A gathering table in the shape of Texas or with a Texas theme. Any suggestions on where to look? Thanks.

Look at flea markets, resale shops and the like. There are too many to name. Try Google Maps to find some close to wherever you are.

I am curious about the people who sell newspapers on the street. I first saw them in 77089 and thought they might just be folks trying to make a living in a poor area. Now I see people selling newspapers in Clear Lake, Webster, etc. Are they employees of the Houston Chronicles? I just can't see them as entrepreneurs selling only one product, which has a very low profit margin.

Talk to local Craftsmen, I bet they can make you one.

How big of a table does it need to be? Should it be shaped as Texas, or Would a Square one do, with Texas flag painted on it, or the shape of Texas burned into it, and then a glass top?

What is this For, I know a few people that could put one together for you, but they will need more info.

I was thinking of a store called Love From Texas. I'd have to look it up, though, but I'm sure Houston would have a store with a similar theme out at the Galleria.

Does anyone know of any message boards or forums that apply to the Memorial area? I have found tons of boards for the suburbs but nothing for this specific area.

Wow, they're talking like something nasty is gonna hit us here tonight. Talking about tornadoes and golf ball sized hail and whatnot.

I've lived 25 years in and around Houston, and I have never seen a tornado (waterspout offshore, yes) or golf ball sized hail in my life....not the first time I've heard such a thing forecasted though. We'll see.
