Caldwell is west of Bryan and College Station. Not really Houston area, but the Texas forum is where you want to be.

I have children- so that is a very complex question!!
I would bet the amount a person with average income would carry is about $100,000 per policy. And then $25,000 per child.

Caldwell = Podunk. Population 3,000. Good luck finding info on that one. You fell in love with 100 degree Texas heat?

But anyway, as Jfre said, it's close to College Station. That's probably where you need to be looking for work. There is a lot of underemployment in that town. Retail and restaurants are where it's at, outside of TAMU. And then there's Bryan as well.

As for Caldwell, all I know about it is it's the first town you get to when traveling to Austin or SA from CS, and you're out of it in 5 minutes.
