Howdy, everyone! I'm staying here in Houston for a few weeks for a team training program. Just want to say I really love it here! I'm not gonna lie-- it is hotter than hot! But then again, so is Phoenix (where I'm living right now). I really like the city so far. I might even want to see if I can get a transfer here down the road. Just want to let you guys know you have someone trash talking your fair city here on the General US forum. I think the thread was started by sweetclimber. The thread is supposed to be about "LA or Mexico City" but for some reason someone has hijacked it and is talking some liberal hate speech against Houston. Just want to give you guys a head up....

I would just like to inform some foreigners out there... boxer shorts are not for outdoors. Here are examples of things you SHOULD NOT do while wearing boxer shorts only.
1. Mow front lawns.
2. House work especially ones that require going up ladders or sitting on the floor.
3. Walking around the neighborhood enjoying the breeze and waving at people
4. Walking into convenience stores.

In case you didn't know, boxer shorts are technically underwear mmkay They werent made for Texan summers

aren't boxers just part of the anything goes society that we have? you can just get out of bed and go and do anything as is...................

Newcombers probably like them for Texas summers -- airy.

The only time I go out in boxers is in the dark (10pm or 5am) to put the trash out.

The other things he listed is borderline indecent. Something there is liable to flop out.

The only people I see out in their boxers - are really old people in their own yards, people trying to sneak out in the pre-dawn hours to take out trash, teens and then there is the trash wearing the boxers out about town. Luckily I've never seen anything flop out in any of those cases but I try not to look long enough to let that happen.
