Yeah, odd that he hasn't been around lately.

-It's HOT and humid.
-Houstonians (including my boyfriend and I) eat out a lot--we can afford it and there are great places to eat. I'm pretty sure there was some study that showed as top dogs when it come to eating out. Food IS culture here.
-International with strong Mexican culture and to a lesser extent Southern culture, all bundled up in what I like to call home. 90 languages spoken.
-Houston may not be HIP or even EXCITING. It has its potential like any city though. Sometimes the city is boring, I think you can get bored wherever you are, especially when you're "in the grind" every day. (One of the reasons why visiting a place is very different from living there.) I like to think of it as being very "homey" with a lot of pluses of place that's bustling.
-We kind of always wonder why the hell we're not included. We know we're not the best at everything, but we are at some things. I mean, right now I'm kind of peeved that spell check is questioning my spelling of "Houstonian" and offered "Bostonian" as an alternative spelling!
-Casual people here in Houston.

Question Does anyone else agree??

Hello everybody! I hope yall are all having great evenings. I was just wondering, does anyone else think that something is seriously wrong with the people that are making fast food commercials now? I mean for example...Burger King, that guy is just creapy, and now they have more people!! Then there's the two Sonic guys that are just annoying, and McDonalds' Mcafe ones are quite annoying as well. The whole "5 Dollar Foot Long" thing is getting kind of out there too. Oh then the latest Jack in the Box ones, the one for the mini burgers I think is offending, then there's the one for the drink and the woman who's going through menapause...OMG...serious stepford wife kinda thing. Anyways, I was just thinking about that. Does this also show how much of a life I don't have lol, sad I know.

Okay what about the Quizno's ones, I think it is Quiznos anyway, with the talking oven? This oven talks to the cook guy Dave, with these odd homo erotic things he says, like "put it in me Dave."

If you haven't seen it, no really, it says that.

I kind of like the menopause woman Jack in the Box one though
