Default Sugar Land

I am possibly relocating to Sugar Land from Louisville, KY with my husband. We are a young couple just starting out so we would be renting an appartment or possibly buying our first home. What is the cost of living in this area? Are there any "bad" areas we should stay away from?

The only area of Sugar Land I might avoid is north of Airport. This is not because the area is bad but rather because this is the area most likely to either stagnate or go down when it comes to housing values. In fact, if there were a part of Sugar Land that might go bad in the future, it would be between Airport and Bellfort. Have you considered Meadows Place? It is a town just East of the North section of Sugar Land. The school district is the same (Fort Bend) and it has its own police department. Houses run from very modest to pretty nice. Crime is almost non-existent. And you can't beat the proximity to 59. I am not trying to be a spokesperson for Meadows Place however I always recommend looking there if you are interested in Sugar Land.
