Gamerooms as in arcades? Try Dave & Busters... great adult arcade joint.

I think he's talking about those "7-7-7" places of questionable legality. The kind that pays "tokens" or "credits." (Yeah right) You can find them in junky strip malls with black plastic trash bags covering the windows. Maybe you'll find a strobe light as well. If you look at "bath houses" and "stress management" places in these strip malls that have these window covers, you can probably find game rooms as well.

If that's truely what he/she is looking for, it seems like they have a gambling problem with the way they posted the question.

No, Actually I don't have a gambling problem at all. This is what I do for a Living. I have Gamerooms in 7 states. and wanted to come to Texas to do Business. I just simply wanted to know what ares to look in. I'm hearing Baytown, Bacliff, Crosby, Katy and Houston. I just wanted some confirmation, before I come to Texas on Friday. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Those are not exactly legal here...they exist but they're not really legal. These *gamerooms* get harassed/shut down by the cops all the time. Texas is rather anti-gambling, perhaps to a fault (as people take their gambling dollars elsewhere, such as Louisiana). Even video poker at the horse track was a no-go. You're probably better off expanding to another market, at least as things stand.

There are several of these games rooms in Orange County Tx. Most of these if not all were shut down today. At least one of these has already reopened. This is the first time in 6-8 months that they have been shut down. There was one arrest, but I don't know any details about that.
